Apanasana

     

    Apanasan refers to the pose of a yoga exercise actually this posture is being applied to the body for stress releasing and if one has to stretch his/her lower back. This posture also releases any gastric intestinal pressure and sooths .apanasan posture is also called as the child posture. In Sanskrit language apanasana means settling the energy that moves in the lower abdominal region and by thusstretching with the child pose this allows soothing of ones backbone retention and gastric pressure.

      Procedure of apanasana involves following four steps.

    1. In the first step one should relax on the floor or carpet or even on a mat. Relaxing in a sense that he/she should flat his body in a sleeping position so that the hip distance should be apart and the toes forward pointing.
    2. in the second step  first  and extent your arms forward, than exhale an pulling your navel in direction of  spine during this slowly lower keep yourself downwards by placing your vertebra on the mat.
    3. In the third step as your back is now flatter on the floor .now hug your touch your legs with your knees so that the feet are touching the abdomen. Now extent your arms to the knees and hug them with your chest. Now move your shoulders while grapping the knees clockwise and anti clock wise rotation release the collar bone.
    4. In the last step exhale and ease your body and relax on the mat. If you feel any discomfort than use a small width pillow below your head so that there is no irritation.
