In modern times people do not have plenty of time to think about oneself, be it health or even mental stress. The busy life schedule has changed our life dramatically. So, whenever we are able to spare some time out we try to indulge in various activities. People wants to become member of several social organizations such as clubs, gyms etc. Numbers of people are actively participating in yoga classes.
Why such focused actions? The answer lies in today’s lifestyle; material gain is considered the biggest achievement in today’s world. But common people always miss company of their close friends and relatives. This makes them feel tense, consequently various aliments surrounds them. Other to it, automation of most of the work has made our life static. It means most of us work while sitting in the chair. At this stage Yoga works as a panacea.
There are innumerable advantages of practicing Yoga, they do not only provide physical fitness but also gives soothing effect to our mind. In true sense, yoga gets rid of various diseases and other psychological conditions. Yoga makes you disciplined and teaches you art of living. Now, the question arises ‘How many times per week should one practice Yoga?’
The answer is simple and straight forward. ‘Take out time according to your schedule.’ In other words, even 10 – 15 minutes of regular practice of yoga can tone up your healthy. But for better result and long-term positive effect one should regularly practice at least 60 – 90 minutes per day. Again, we shouldn’t fix the timing strictly. You are free to adjust your timing between morning and/or evening or even divide time accordingly. Some asanas (postures) can be performed in morning and others can be completed in the evening time.
