| Mandukasana |
Mandukasana is a unique technique in yoga exercises; this technique is practiced by 95% of all the yoga students in the world. Mandukasana is derived from two Sanskrit words, Manduka and asana, manduka means frog and asana means posture. So collectively mandukasana means frog posture because the person doing this exercise looks like a frog in this posture. This exercise is unique in the sense that all men and women can do this technique and can make their posture better. This technique is excellent for legs, hips, thighs, feet and the lower region. Mandukasana is originally good and famous for improving flexibility in legs and the abdominal region. |

The basic technique to practice this exercise is to, sit on the yoga mattress and gently start to fold both legs, such that both knees touching the ground and moving legs in the backward direction, keep moving your legs until your feet will touch each other. Notice that your both toes of feet are properly touching each other and your both knees have suitable distance between them. Now place your palms of hands on the floor and put them under your legs or nearer to your knees. You should be looking straight or in front. Now inhale and took long breathes about 10 to 15 breathes, such that your break point is reached. If you want to come back in the original position gently loosen up your legs and put off your hands, and come in the original position.
