The full yogic breath combines three breathing techniques of sectional breathing. It begins with the abdominal breathing and is followed by the thoracic and cavicular breathing. The full yogic breath is practiced in the Vairasana pose with your arms at your sides. Your palms should be facing either up or down. Every inhalation should go directly to your lower abdomen, into your rib cage, and then finally into your ribs. This should be the path of your full yogic breath.
