| Setu Bandha Sarvangasana |
Setu badha sarvangasana is a very useful pose in yoga. This pose is very beneficial to the people having some backbone problems. The name of this asana is being derived from the ancient language called as the Sanskrit. This asana is also called as the bridge pose and also known as the half wheel posturte.this asana bends and stretches the hips and the legs. And along with it also opens the heart circulation for the blood. After doing this asana the body becomes lighter and retention free and thus energizes the body. |

The basic method of doing this asana is very simple and straight .this posture involves following steps.
1. First lie on your back on the floor and relax your body.
2. In the second step bend your feet in such a way so that your feet are parallel to the mat and thus near the buttocks.
3. In this step lift your hips slightly from the ground upwards.
4. Now join your hands behind your hips in a way that they should be touching the ground and simultaneously strengthen them and apply force towards the ground.
5. Now roll your shoulder under one by one.
6. Left your hips more high.
7. Now move your chest towards the chin but it should be clear that do not move chin in the direction of the chest.
8. during the asana make in clear that the feet are parallel to the mat.
9.holding this position for a few seconds and that release this position and allow your lower, upper and middle back to relax. |
