| Vajrasana |
Vajrasana is a unique technique in yoga exercises, it is also known as the diamond pose or posture. Vajrasana is derived from two Sanskrit words, vajra and asana, vajra means thunderbolt and asana means pose or posture. So vajrasana is a technique which helps to supply blood in different parts of the body and regulates energy from one part of the body to another part. Vajrasana is also known as the radiant movement of different body parts. This exercise is considered to be an excellent exercise for the upper region of the body. |

The basic technique to do this exercise is to, sit on the yoga mattress straight and spine must be in the upright position. Now sit on your legs with bending your both knees and joining both feet together. Your big toes and toes of both feet touch together and soles pointing in the backward direction. Now put your palms on both knees and look in front such that your spine must be straight and head and eyes are looking ahead. Now inhale and exhale in equal intervals of time, do not take deep breaths. You can remain in this posture for a long time but if you are a beginner take 3 or 4 repetitions. If you have to come back in the original position unfold your legs and sit again in the upright position.
