What are the benefits of it?
Virabhadrasana I improves the balance and energises the body while toning the abdomen and posture. Virabhadrasana II strengthens the legs, chest, ankles and shoulders. It also helps build up lung capacity. Along with these benefits, Virabhadarasana II has been known to help people with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. It is also helpful to patients suffering from sciatica and osteoporosis.
Caution
Virabhadarsana I should not be practiced if the person has suffered or chronically suffers from injury to the hips, shoulders or back. Virabhadrsana II should not be practiced in conditions of diarrhea and high blood pressure.
Some precautions must be taken before doing this technique, like do not sit for long time in the same posture.
