| What are Do's and Don'ts while practicing Yoga? |
The benefits of Yoga, no doubt, are beyond the expectation of yours. Really the world of yoga is bigger than one’s imagination. It helps you in various ways. It acts as a pain reliever, when there is any kind of back pain. Even in case of heart problem and diabetes, it is very useful. It reduces the chances of having various kinds of health problems. It helps you in concentrating your mind on work. But, it has been suggested that while doing Yoga one should follow some Do’s and Don’ts of yoga. It will help you in gaining the real benefits of yoga. So, here are some Do’s and Don’ts of yoga while practicing it:
Do’s while practicing Yoga:
- Let you your yoga teacher know that it is your first class of Yoga.
- Do wear comfortable and loose clothes.
- Do follow your teacher and those practicing yoga with you
- Do ask your yoga teacher in case there is a problem while doing yoga.
- Before you take a decision that it is not for you, do try few classes.
- At the outset, take light physical exercises and then practice your regular routine of asanas.
- Do meditate at the end of the asana. This will really help a lot.
- Do lower the head and the heels gradually.
- Do take own mat and perform asana on it.
- Either takes a full bath or half bath before practicing the Yoga.
- Do take breathe through the nose only and keep complete control on the breathing.
- Make sure the place you perform asanas at is clean, full of light, and ventilated.
- Do wear loose and light clothes because it will help you in making different kinds of poses.
- Do Shavasana, if the body feels labored.
- At last, end the asanas by massaging the arms, legs and the other part of the body.
