What are the benefits of yoga?

     

     Apart from these, other benefits of Yoga are as follows: 

    1. At the outset, Yoga increases the flexibility in the body of a doer. There are various kinds of asanas and positions in yoga, which really make the various joints of the body flexible. Yoga works even on those joints of the body which can hardly be monitored on the radar screen. At the same time, Yoga also increases the lubrication of the ligaments, tendons and joints. It has been found that the positions of Yoga effectively act upon the ligaments and tendons of the body.
