| What are the preparatory steps which one should follow before starting the Yoga practice? |
Before you start practicing yoga, there are certain preparatory steps which are very important to do. Actually the thing is that the desired result of any thing can be attained only if a little preparation is done before hand. Therefore there are a few important things which you must follow before starting practicing yoga.
- Before going to do your yoga, it is very necessary to attend nature’s call. You must be careful about this regardless of time whether it is morning or evening. Yoga is for health and it can be better attained only when you are clean inside.
- Some have the complaint that they don’t have any urge like that just after getting out of the bed. But they need not worry about it. What all they need to is to take few glasses of water and walk for a few minutes. This will work miraculously and clean their entire bowel.
- Mind it, it is very necessary to do before practicing yoga and must be at one our before it. Actually yoga improves the assimilating ability of the digestive system. So if any waste is left in the intestine, toxins will be absorbed and go into blood. In this way yoga will prove curse instead of boon.
- Oil massage has been coming down for ages as a great thing to treat skins and muscles with nutrients. And this is what Abhyanga is all about. It is a very useful thing to get the right benefit of yoga. It is optional, but if you have time you must have oil massage before doing yoga.
- Taking shower means taking a bath which makes clean, cool, fresh and fragrant. After bath the mind is in its serene state, which is very important for getting the desired effect of yoga.
- Before doing asanas of yoga, it is advisable to relax the body muscles for a few minutes. While doing different poses of yoga, tight muscle may create some discomfort, so it good to warm up the body.
